JLP Homes is proud to be celebrating 10 years in business. Jon Poetker, President of JLP Homes began working in the construction industry as a trade contractor framing homes for other builders. With a strong family history in residential construction, Jon decided to start JLP Construction in 1997. His initial focus and vision still remains to provide quality new homes at a fair price.

We now offer our New Homes Showroom located South of Waterloo, Illinois on Route 3, which is open to the public. The showroom offers home shoppers a "hands on" look at all the current home building options. We take pride in our craft and in doing so have elected to join The Home Builders Association, National Association of Home Builders, Monroe County Builders Association, and the National Federation of Independent Businesses. JLP Homes also offers a 1-10 Builders Warranty for your peace of mind.

JLP Homes employs a full staff in office and out in the field to aid you in your home selection, purchase and the entire closing process. In addition we provide a "Three Phase Service Program" that puts our field team at your door at two weeks, six months, and again at one year to make sure that everything is to your satisfaction.

With JLP Homes continued focus on new construction we have grown to be one of the largest residential builders in the area. We now offer 12 developments. Within those 12 developments there are choices of acreage, single family, duplex and villa living. Choose from 13 floor plans with an array of standard options. And as always, feel free to bring your own plan and we can customize it to your very own unique design.
